Chili Supper Fundraiser Info.

Join us for our annual Chili Supper but "Drive Thru" style this year! Monday, October 26th we are offering lunch delivery hours (11am-1pm) and dinner pick up hours (4pm-6pm) at the Springfield Baptist Fellowship Hall.

Tickets are $10.00 each. You have a choice of chili or chicken tortilla soup along with a half sandwich, corn bread muffin and dessert. Tickets are available at the History Museum in the gift shop or you can place your delivery order by calling the museum at 615-382-7173.

Haunted Tales from the Museum

On Friday, October 30th just in time for Halloween the Robertson County History Museum will host "Haunted Tales from the Museum". The event is family friendly and will feature six local storyteller historians. 

Bob Bell, who will speak about his family's encounters with the Bell Witch. Noted author Rick Gregory, will speak about the Night Riders from the Tobacco Wars. Tameshia Martin, a popular African-American actress will tell of ghost stories about the graveyard at Wessyngton Plantation. Local Robertson County educator Kathy Dorris, will thrill with "Murder on Main Street" which is based on actual people and events from Springfield's past. Best selling Civil War author Cody Engdahl, will recount a miraculous story from "The Battle of Shiloh". Danny Atchley will tell of a supernatural event that includes tragic loss during the Union occupation of Springfield during the Civil War.

Tickets are $10.00 per person and are limited to 35 people per event. Event will take place at 6pm and 7pm. Tickets are available for purchase in the gift shop at the History Museum. Ticket includes light hor d'oeuvres, beverages, and treats for the kids.
